Runtime repository

It is possible to configure an ITP/MDK Repository Server to act as a runtime repository. This kind of repository expects its database to be replicated from another ITP/MDK Repository instance, commonly called the 'editorial repository'. A runtime repository will not allow clients to connect, so it is essentially read-only. It is intended to be used as the system from which ITP/Server retrieves the dynamic objects while running models in the production domain.

An ITP/MDK Repository installation is turned into a runtime repository by adding the following to the itprep.ini file of the ITP/MDK Repository Server:

ReplicatedInstance= Y

You need to restart the ITP/MDK Repository Server after saving the itprep.ini file.
