Section

A Section element is used to define a section in the Content Wizard. You can add Sections to the Content Wizard element, to other Sections, or to a Section Selection Group. It is not possible to add a Section or Section Selection Group more than five levels deep. A selection group of Sections counts as one level. A Section can contain other Sections, Selection Groups, and Text Blocks.

Section title

In this field you can enter the title of the Section.

Optional

This option indicates if the Section is optional or mandatory. In other words, it indicates if items will or will not be automatically selected in the result of the Content Wizard .

Default Selected (optional Sections only)

For optional Sections, you can use a check box to indicate that this Section should be default selected in the selection dialog generated by the Content Wizard. This allows you to select which optional Sections should appear in the content of a document during a Content Wizard run. Sections that are added in a Section Selection Group are always optional. All other Sections can be mandatory or optional. Mandatory Sections will automatically be selected and appear as read-only in the selection dialog of the Content Wizard.

Note

You can only set the number of Sections that can be selected in the dialog of a Section Selection Group

Question text

For optional Sections that are not part of a group you can enter a Question text. This text will be displayed to the end user in the online selection form of the Content Wizard. In this text you can give a description of the selection that is offered. If you leave the Question text empty a default text will be displayed. You can use a space if you want to have no text displayed.

Note

Question text is only available with ITP/Server version 3.5.7 or higher.

QForm

This property allows you to enter a reference to a QForm. The QForm defined for the Section element will be applied to all Text Blocks in this Section and its subsections. It will be applied regardless of other QForm references that have been defined for those Sections. Following this QForm, the QForms defined for those Sections will also be applied. You can find more information on QForms in the ITP/MDK Repository Manual chapter Objects and actions reference.
