Sessions

As of version 3.2.20 of ITP/OnLine Server, the sessions that hold the information about a single model run are 'open'. This means that they can be accessed from any ITP/Server script that runs within the context of a session:

• Key/value-pairs can be stored in a session and retrieved at a later time; any script can do this, as long as it runs in the context of the specific session.
• Each session corresponds to a session directory, where files may be stored and retrieved at a later time.

The parameters that define an ITP/OnLine Server model run are stored as special key/value-pairs in the session. For more information on sessions, which use an ITP/Server concept and are not specific to ITP/OnLine Server, please refer to the ITP/Server Script Manual.
