Not all levels of settings are meaningful for every connection. The ITP/Server Administration Program will display a greyed-out window if you selected a level of a connection on which the settings are not relevant. It is not possible to edit, set or remove a setting in such a greyed-out window.
To set a setting you have to select the level on which you want to set the setting on the left side of the window and choose the setting you want to change on the right side of the window. If you click the 'Set' button, a window appears that gives information about the setting that you want to set. Fill in the demanded value and choose 'OK' or click the cancel button to leave the window without adding a setting.
A setting can only be removed on the level on which the setting was added. Select the level on which you want to delete the setting on the left side of the window and select the setting you want to remove on the right side of the window and click the button 'Remove'. The setting on that level of the selected setting will be removed. If a value for that setting has been specified on a lower level, the setting will now display this setting.
A setting can only be edited on the level on which the setting was added. Select the level on which you want to edit the setting on the left side of the window and select the setting you want to change on the right side of the window and click the button 'Edit'. A window appears that gives information about the setting that you want to edit. Edit the value and choose 'OK' or click the cancel button to leave the window without editing the setting.
