A Text Blocks only contains text, possibly with some variable fields. Lay out possibilities are limited. When a Text Block is included in the document, its text is printed in the final document. Changing a Text Block does not require recreating the ITP Model. Text Blocks are collected from the ITP/MDK Repository when the model is run. Text Blocks are typically created and maintained by users in the role of content manager.
A Text Block can, just like an include document, be used in more than one model document. Text Blocks are included with the instruction TEXTBLOCK. Refer to the ITP Model language Help for more information on this instruction.
Text Blocks which use variable fields need to have Field Sets attached to their Text Block folder. A Field Set describes the available variable fields.

For OpenOffice.org documents the `Text Block style´ document is not default available. To add the styles for the Text Blocks, you need to take action yourself. Refer to Style Document for more information.
