The DataMan.exe commandline parameters

You can start the DataManager with the following command-line parameters:

DATAMAN.EXE [Userid Password] [Host]

Userid Password

These are the user-id and password used to login to the host. They take precedence over the corresponding settings in the configuration file and are global (that is not DID specific).

Remark

These parameters are case sensitive, which means that you must pass them in uppercases.

Host

The host to connect to. This parameter is only valid for AS/400 Connections. It takes precedence over the corresponding setting in the configuration file and is global (that is not DID specific).

• For AS/400 Connection with TCP/IP this is the IP address or hostname of the AS/400, optionally combined with a port number. You separate the address and the port number with a colon (:).
• For AS/400 Connection with SNA/APPC this is the Partner Logical Unit name (PLU) of the AS/400.
