The ITP/MDK ribbon

The ITP/MDK Repository ribbon is available for Word 2007 and up.

Please refer to the Microsoft Word documentation for more information on working with ribbons.

Different toolbars and menus are available for (Model) documents, Rich Text blocks, DID documents and Error documents.

The ITP/MDK ribbon contains the following functions, dependent on the object you work with:

• Create Model
  Assumes that the active document is a Model document and tries to create an ITP Model out of it.
• Test Model
  Searches the related ITP Model to the active document and tries to run it.
• Browse Includes
  Shows a dialog containing all Include documents in the active document. The selected document will be opened.
• Edit Include
  Opens an Include document for editing.
• View Include
  Opens an Include document for viewing.
• Compare and Merge documents.
  Enters documents compare mode. Please refer to the Microsoft Word documentation for more information on working with Compare.
• Browse DID
  Starts or activates the DID browser. When Browse DID is called on an active DID document, it will start the related DID and not the DID configured on the project.
• New ODBC Entry
  Starts the ODBC Entry Wizard. The ODBC Entry Wizard will generate an Entry definition for a table from an ODBC Data Source. The generated Entry definition will be inserted at the location of the cursor in the active DID document.
• New Oracle Entry
  Starts the Oracle Entry Wizard. The Oracle Entry Wizard will generate an Entry definition for a table from an Oracle database. The generated Entry definition will be inserted at the location of the cursor in the active DID document.
• New Stored Procedure Entry
  Starts the ODBC Stored Procedure Entry Wizard. With the ODBC Stored Procedure Entry wizard, you can generate an entry based on a ODBC Stored Procedure. The generated Entry definition will be inserted at the location of the cursor in the active DID document.
• ITP Toolbox
  Starts the ITP Toolbox e.g., to insert fields and functions.
• Find Next Error
  Finds the next error in an error document.
• Create DID
  Creates a DID of the active DID document.
• ITP Help
  Starts the Help that explains the model development language.
• MDK Help
  Starts this Help.
• Model developer's manual
  Starts the Help of the model development language in PDF.
• DID Help
  Starts the Help for the DID developer.
