Updates and releases are cumulative for the ITP/MDK Repository unless clearly stated otherwise. Every upgrade or release contains all new features and bug fixes of all previous upgrades and releases. Once you have installed a version of the ITP/MDK Repository you can always install a later upgrade or release 'over' it and it also means that you can skip an upgrade or release without consequences.

This version of the ITP/MDK Repository can upgrade all earlier versions starting with 2.2.0 To upgrade from even older versions, you first need to install 2.2.0 as an intermediary version.
In version 3.2.5 of the ITP/MDK Repository new installers, based on new installer software, were introduced. It is therefore important to distinguish between two types of upgrades; one from an older version (before 3.2.5) and one from a new version (3.2.5 or up). An upgrade from an older version is actually a new installation, based on settings of an older installation. The installer refers to this as an "Incompatible upgrade". It will ask the following:
