A session is a storage area into which a script can store persistent data across calls to ITP/Server. This chapter provides an overview of how sessions work, and how they are used in scripts. The examples do not discuss all possible options of the commands that are involved. Detailed documentation of the commands can be found in the reference chapters of this manual.
